Follicle & Co. was born out of obsession — not with hair loss, but with formulation science.
How It Started
We spent months studying every clinical trial we could find. Proprietary peptide complexes. Delivery mechanisms. Growth factor signaling pathways. We dug into what dermatology clinics actually use in their $300+ hair restoration treatments and mapped the active ingredients, the concentrations, and the mechanisms of action.
The more we learned, the clearer it became: the science exists. The active ingredients are available. The clinical data is published. Microneedle delivery technology works. The only thing standing between consumers and clinical-grade results was a business model built on clinic markups and gatekeeping.
So we asked a simple question: Why can't this exist at home?
The answer was: it can. Nobody was building it.
What We Built
We started with the formula, not the brand. The full RCP trio — Redensyl at 3%, Capixyl at 2.5%, Procapil at 2.5% — targeting DHT modulation, stem cell activation, and follicle anchoring. GHK-Cu copper peptide for growth factor signaling through the Wnt/β-catenin pathway. Adenosine at 0.75% for anagen prolongation — the exact concentration from the landmark Japanese clinical trials.
Every active ingredient is dosed at the concentration used in published studies. We publish those percentages on the label because hiding behind "proprietary blends" is how brands get away with pixie-dusting trace amounts of expensive ingredients.
Then we paired the formula with 0.5mm microneedle delivery. Topical serums lose 95% or more of their actives to the skin barrier. Our system creates microchannels that deliver the full formula directly into the upper dermis — where the dermal papilla and follicle stem cells actually live.
No filler ingredients to pad an INCI list. No before-and-after photos sourced from Reddit. No "proprietary blend" hiding what's inside. Total active load: 11.5%, published and verified.
What We Stand For
Transparency over marketing
We publish what's in it and how much. Every ingredient, every percentage, every time. If a brand won't show you the numbers, ask yourself why.
Science over hype
Every claim is backed by a mechanism or a study. We don't use words like "miracle" or "breakthrough" because those words mean nothing.
Access over gatekeeping
Clinical-grade formulations shouldn't require a clinic visit and a $300 invoice. The same science, direct to you, at a fraction of the cost.
Honesty over conversion
We'd rather lose a sale than make a false promise. Hair growth takes months. Not everyone will respond. We say that upfront.
Product over brand
We invest in the formula, not the influencer. The ingredient list is the marketing. If the product doesn't speak for itself, no amount of branding will fix that.
What's Next
We haven't run our own clinical trial on the complete formulation yet — and we'd rather be honest about that than pretend. Every individual ingredient has published clinical data at the exact concentrations we use. We cite those studies directly and link to them. But a proprietary trial on the full system is on the roadmap, and it's coming.
When we expand the product line, it will be because the research supports it — not because a marketing calendar demands it. New products will follow the same rules: published concentrations, clinical-grade dosing, full transparency. No seasonal launches for the sake of revenue.
This is a long game. Hair biology is slow. Building trust is slower. We're fine with that.
